Within the project DESENT several models will be developed, which will amongst others:
•investigate the consumption / production behaviour of customers under conditions of uncertainty,
•evaluate and give possibility to optimize future energy supply considering the uncertainty from the demand and supply side, and
•manage uncertainties in consumers and business strategies of energy companies in energy transition and SES developments.
DESENT, Smart Decision Support System for Urban Energy and Transportation, is a research project funded under the scheme of the ERA-NET Cofund Smart Cities and Communities joint research program (ENSCC), JPI Urban Europe. The ERA-NET Cofund Smart Cities and Communities (ENSCC) call was the product of a joint effort with the Smart Cities Member States Initiative. It dealt with the topics of Smart Integrated Urban Energy and Transport Systems, Smart Tools and Services for the aforementioned systems, Smart and Big Data, and Smart Governance and Smart citizens.
The system is under-development, results include energy prediction tools, system design of user interface of the energy management app and the dynamic model of mobility decisions.
